Americans use more than 67 million tons of paper per year if all of it was recycled it could save 1139000000 trees!!
Only 1 percent of the world's water supply is usable; 97 percent is in the ocean and 2 percent is frozen.
We use about 392 cans per person per year.
Paper products make up the largest part (approximately 40%) of our rubbish.
For every ton of steel recycled, 2,500 pounds of iron ore, 1,400 pounds of coal, and 120 pounds of limestone are conserved
Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to run a television or operate a computer for three hours.
100 trees can filter up to 6000 pounds of pollutants from the air each year.
